Hooray For May!

Discover what Dorset Adventure Park is all about: What's new, what’s on offer, what makes it one of the best waterparks in Europe and why it is the place to be this Summer.

Dorset Adventure Park Is Back And Better Than Ever!

Dorset Adventure Park reopens for the Spring and Summer season on Saturday May 18th and not only is it back but it is better than ever. Dorset Adventure Park holds a 5 star rating on Tripadvisor and has the official reputation as the best waterpark in Europe, as voted by TimeOut . What makes this Dorset water park so outstanding is the dedication to continually deliver excellence, which is why the team behind the waterpark have been working away to make it an even more incredible experience.  “I’m very excited to be opening again,” Dorset Adventure Park Director Liz Mulliner said. “The Waterpark has two completely fresh layouts with loads of new kit. It’s bigger and better than ever. The Mud Trail has a few new obstacles too, including a zip line!”

What is Dorset Adventure Park?

Dorset Adventure Park is home to two lakes and a mud trail. The trail is a mud obstacle assault course across 2 kilometres and comprises over 50 challenging obstacles for you to climb, crawl, slide and squelch your way across. The mud trail is an unforgettable adventure designed to test your agility, strength and stamina but all whilst having a whole lot of fun. The water park across the two blue lakes, Castle Lake and Woodland Lake is full of inflatable fun. The lakes are full of Wibit inflatable obstacles for you to complete and slip and slide your way across. Try walking the plank, flying into orbit on the flip bag and making a splash on the slides! Dorset Adventure park is staffed with great people and fully trained lifeguards to ensure that you can relax, feel safe and comfortable and above all, have fun. “We’ve got loads of returning staff coming back this year which is great,” Liz said recently. “They are such wonderful human beings, can’t wait to see all of their happy faces again.” Staff often return to Dorset Adventure Park each season, as do a lot of the visitors. At Dorset Adventure Park, the staff are dedicated to making sure it is a positive experience for each and every visitor. This really shines through in the reviews left by repeat visitors, like this Tripadvisor review, written before the season ended last September: “I have visited the park pretty much every year since it opened and it’s always absolutely brilliant. We went yesterday and it was our best visit yet. Staff are amazing, the lifeguards […] are fantastic fun and also very professional keeping everyone safe. The whole set up is great. Would absolutely recommend for the next day out. We did the waterpark but have done the mud run before which is great too.”
